About Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships
The Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnership of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (DIKG USU) was built based on the regulation of the Board of Trustees No. 1 of 2022 concerning the Organization and Governance of USU as a form of realization of the importance of cooperation in realizing an international campus. The Directorate of Internationalization and global partnerships is an Academic Support Unit responsible to the Rector through the Vice-Rector for Research, Community Service and Cooperation.

Directorate of Internationalization and Global PartnershipsProf. Dr. Eng. Himsar Ambarita ST., MT is a lecturer from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, he completed his undergraduate program at the Universitas Sumatera Utara in 1997, a master's program at the Bandung Institute of Technology in 2001, and a doctoral program at the Muroran Institute of Technology Japan, currently he serves as director at the USU Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships (DIKG).
