Summer Course

Summer Courses Program is designed to serve students and professionals to study at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Campus. During the implementation of academic activities, participants will explore and work together for a while. The presentations, tutorials, and other activities will be delivered in English. The educational activities are provided by USU faculty staffs and foreign resource persons (such as professors and researchers from partner universities, experts who work in reputable industries/research centers, or international standing organizations). USU World Class University Program supports these Summer Course Programs.
There is no registration fee to join. Eligible applicants will receive a notification of acceptance as USU -regular students for a limited period. At the end of the program, there will be assessments, and the participants will be granted transferable credit units. Please read the registration process :

Local participants can register directly without any documentation. For international participants, specific documentation must be provided as the following when you register:

a) Completed Application Form (in PDF Format max. 300kb)
b) CV (in PDF Format max. 300kb)
c) Scanned Copy of ID Page Passport (in JPEG format 100kb-300kb)
d) Latest Close-up Digital Colored Photo (Facing front, Red Background, file size between 100 kb-300 kb in JPEG format)
e) Letter of Declaration (in PDF Format max. 300kb)

If international participants want to join the offline activities, please provide these additional requirements 6 weeks before the summer course starting date. Make sure your passport should have a minimum of 6 months expiration date for the B211A Visa (the student visa you need to join a short course)
