Chulalongkorn University visits USU to Benchmark

On July 14, 2023, Chulalongkorn University, ranked 224 QS World University Ranking, conducted a benchmark to Universitas Sumatera Utara. Before this benchmark, USU and Chulalongkorn had many collaborations, such as research, publications, and benchmarks by USU's Center for Excellence in Science and Technology (PUI). In addition, this year, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) USU also conducted a Summer Course to Chulalongkorn on July 10-14, 2023.

Prof. Hunsa Punnapayak, PhD, Assoc, represented Chulalongkorn in this benchmark. Prof. Sehanat Prasongsuk, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rachaneekorn Tammachote, and Dr. Wichanee Bankeeree. Meanwhile, USU was represented by the Director of the Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships, Prof. Himsar Ambarita, Secretary Dr. Arif Nuryawan, Internationalization Program Manager Prof. Rikson Siburian, and Partnership Manager Dr. Arida Susilowati, as well as the leader of the Summer Course Program "Beneficial Fungi Innovation and Biodiversity," Dr. Liana.
