During the meeting, USU received an offer of cooperation from BPJS Kesehatan regarding internship programs and employee recruitment for USU students. “We accept the offer of internship programs and employee recruitment for our students because cooperation with USU must be based on the tri dharma of higher education,” said Prof. Poppy.

Based on this, BPJS will coordinate with the USU Research and Innovation Development Agency (BPRI) to obtain information on recruiting student employees. “BPJS Kesehatan hopes to obtain information related to the calendar of events at USU so that it can arrange a schedule for socialization and participation in job fairs to recruit new employees,” said Syafrizal, BPJS Kesehatan representative.

In addition, BPJS Kesehatan offers assistance with research data needs. “We are ready to help by providing data or information related to BPJS Kesehatan if needed by USU lecturers or students for research purposes,” added Ari Handhini from BPJS Kesehatan.

Both parties also agreed to explore more cooperation opportunities, including providing scholarships for USU students. “Maybe BPJS Health has a scholarship program; we are ready to select outstanding students to receive scholarships according to the provisions of BPJS Health,” said Prof. Poppy.

Furthermore, USU and BPJS Kesehatan will immediately complete the MoU Document as the basis for general cooperation and the MoA Document for more specific activities, such as internship programs that USU students from various faculties can follow.
