Universitas Sumatera Utara and Tottori University Japan held an audience to discuss cooperation on Friday, March 17, 2023. The audience was attended by USU Vice Rector 3, Prof. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., and Manager of the Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships Arief Kurniawan, as well as from Tottori University. This audience was held at the Rector Bureau Building of Universitas Sumatera Utara.

In this audience, both parties agreed to cooperate through student exchanges, summer courses, short visits, and joint research. According to the Head of the USU Partnership Division (BPPKMK USU), soon, there will be a program to send USU Japanese culture study program students to Japan (for one year), where the Japanese government will finance the students. Other cooperation programs will be designed and implemented this year.
