This final round emphasized presentation and leadership skills in the context of ASEAN Youth Volunteerism in SDGs. Three outstanding winners emerged from various faculties: Siti Nur Salsabila from the Faculty of Computer Science and IT, Haris Fadhilah Nasution from the Faculty of Engineering, and Enrico Franditho Sihombing from the Faculty of Medicine. All three successfully highlighted their commitment and innovative ideas in supporting sustainable development in the ASEAN region.
The highlight of the event was marked by the presentation of prizes in the form of sashes to the winners by USU Vice Rector III, Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., Apt, together with the Director of the Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships, Prof. Dr. Eng. Himsar Ambarita, ST, MT, and Director of the Directorate of Student Achievement and Alumni Relations of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Rahma Yurliani, S.Psi, M.Psi.
In his remarks, Vice Rector III said, "You are a role model for the younger generation in realizing the vision of sustainable development. May this success be the beginning of your long journey in contributing to a better change,'"
This event also emphasized USU's commitment to supporting students in becoming empowered agents of change and actively contributing to achieving sustainable development goals.
Congratulations to the winners. May this success inspire all USU students to excel and contribute positively to society and the environment.
