Universitas Sumatera Utara Attends 4th UNINET Board Meeting in Thailand

Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is pleased to announce its participation in the 4th IMT-GT University Network (UNINET) Council Meeting, which will be hosted by Prince of Songkla University (PSU) at the Pattani Campus, Thailand, from July 24 to 25, 2024.
Various delegates from UNINET members attended this activity, which aims to strengthen cooperation in education, research, and community service.
On this occasion, USU was represented by Vice Rector III, Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., who serves as Vice Rector for Research, Community Service, and Cooperation. Dr. Rudi Sofyan, S.S., M.Hum., Head of USU's International Affairs Office, joined her. Their participation is expected to strengthen the relationship between universities in the UNINET network and open new cooperation opportunities that will benefit academic and research development at USU.
The 4th UNINET Council meeting aims to discuss important agendas, including collaboration programs between member universities, joint curriculum development, and student and faculty exchanges. This event is also a forum for sharing experiences and best practices in higher education management in the IMT-GT region.
"USU's participation in this meeting shows our commitment to continue actively participating in international networks that can provide great benefits for institutional development and improve the quality of education at USU," said Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan.
The event was also an opportunity for delegates to expand their professional networks and establish strategic partnerships that can support various collaborative programs and projects in the future. Universitas Sumatera Utara hopes to continue actively contributing to every UNINET activity and bringing tangible benefits to the wider community.
