USU becomes the first stop of the Tapanuli Orang Utan Care Roadshow

Kehati Foundation, in collaboration with The Body Shop Indonesia and Orang Utan Information Center (OIC), and supported by the Bureau of Research, Community Service, and Cooperation (BPPKMK) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a roadshow "Peduli Orangutan Tapanuli" at Pancasila Building, Universitas Sumatera Utara on Thursday, February 22, 2023.

The roadshow was represented by Vice Rector 3 of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Poppy A.Z.. Hasibuan, M.Si., and Director of Communication and Partnership of Kehati Foundation, Rika Anggaraini.

 

This roadshow aims to educate the younger generation and raise awareness to save the Tapanuli Orang Utan. The roadshow will be held at four universities in Indonesia, and USU will be the first stop in this series of workshops.

 

In this roadshow, there will be a talk show to raise awareness of the habitat and biodiversity of the Tapanuli Orang Utan. In addition, there will also be puzzle games, photo contests, Instagram contests with the Tapanuli Orang Utan mascot, and other contests.
