USU Supports Internship Students in Pakistan

On Friday, February 27, USU received an audience of USU students who will conduct research at ICCBS as their final project. This audience was held in the Vice Rector III meeting room. Director of the Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships, Prof. Himsar Ambarita, S.T., M.T., said that this program is a form of cooperation that can benefit students to gain research experience in other countries. He said that there were ten students and three lecturers who conducted research in Pakistan.

In the context of internationalization, the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) actively supports its students to conduct outbound or internships in other countries. One is organized by the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) in Pakistan for 6 to 12 months.

Nurul Afriyani Siregar from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences USU, one of the students who will go to Pakistan, hopes that USU will always support this program and can motivate other students because there are excellent facilities and excellent technological developments to support their final project.
