The Director of the Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships, Prof. Himsar Ambarita, S.T., M.T., stated that this program is a form of collaboration that allows students to gain research experience abroad. He mentioned that ten students and three lecturers would conduct research in Pakistan.
As part of its internationalization efforts, USU actively supports its students in participating in outbound programs or internships abroad. One of these programs is organized by the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) in Pakistan, lasting between six to twelve months.
Nurul Afriyani Siregar from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) USU, one of the students heading to Pakistan, expressed her hope that USU would continue supporting this program and inspiring other students. She highlighted that ICCBS offers excellent facilities and advanced technology to support their final projects.
