USU Vice Rector III Encourages Increased Publications and Research in IKP Meeting
Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., Vice Rector III for Research, Community Service, and Cooperation at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), conducted a Priority Performance Indicator (IKP) Determination meeting held at the Digital Learning Center Building (DLCB), 8th floor, on Tuesday (12/11/2024). The event began with opening remarks by Prof. Dr. Drs. Opim Salim Sitompul, M.Sc., USU Vice Rector IV, and was attended by various stakeholders from faculties and work units.

USU and Asia Forest Institute Agree on Cooperation in the Field of Forestry and Environmental Conservation
Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Asia Forest Institute (AFI) from South Korea on Monday (11/11/2024) at the USU Faculty of Forestry, Kwala Bekala. The signing of this cooperation document was carried out by Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., Vice Rector III for Research, Community Service, and Cooperation of USU with Prof. Dr. Ho Sang Kang, Executive Director of AFI.

Officially Establishing Cooperation, USU and Indosat Ooredoo Will Implement 'Sampah Jadi Pulsa' Program

Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), in collaboration with the Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila Republik Indonesia (BPIP), held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the theme "Strengthening the Ethics of State Organizers in the Life of Society, Nation, and State". USU and Seoul Glocal Education Laboratory Cooperate in Korean Language Course Development
Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) officially established international cooperation with Seoul Glocal Education Laboratory from South Korea through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which took place at JW Marriott Hotel Medan. The MoU signing was led by the USU Rector, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., and attended by several important representatives, including Prof. Dr. Eng. Himsar Ambarita, ST, MT, Director of USU'sUSU's Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships, and Youn Hyang OK, Director of the Global Seoul Glocal Education Laboratory.

The event, held in the Academic Senate Room on the 3rd Floor of the USU Rectorate Building, was accompanied by the BRIN 2024 Top Collaborator Research Award, which was presented to USU in appreciation for its active contribution to research publications with BRIN.
