Ergonomics

Students of the Ergonomics class will have the opportunity to join various learning and training programs, guided directly by lecturers who are experts in their respective fields, with an international standard curriculum. This Ergonomics class aims to teach students about the principles of ergonomics, which involves designing workplaces, products, and systems to suit the capabilities and comfort of users by minimizing the risk of injury and improving work efficiency.

About Course

This course focuses on applying mathematics, science, engineering, and information technology knowledge to solve problems in industry, society, and government. Students will be trained to design integrated systems by considering performance, reliability, and sustainability factors. Students will understand work concepts, work systems, and their role in improving productivity. They will also be able to create work concept designs by implementing climate control systems, natural ventilation, daylighting, and acoustic control.

This Ergonomics class has been specifically designed to meet the needs of new Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) students. Students from Universities that partner with USU can easily access Ergonomics learning at one of Indonesia's international universities.
