Professional Ethics

Students of the Professional Ethics class will have the opportunity to join various learning and training programs, guided directly by lecturers who are experts in their respective fields, with an international standard curriculum. This Professional Ethics class aims to teach students about understanding moral values, responsibilities, and ethical behavior in the context of their work. This class provides a foundation for students to develop a strong ethical awareness.

About Course

This course trains students to responsibly identify, formulate, and analyze engineering problems and comply with professional ethics. Students will be expected to understand codes of ethics, ethical theories, and their application in engineering contexts so they can apply them to hypothetical and actual cases. In addition, this class equips students with skills for lifelong learning and accessing up-to-date knowledge, creating chemical engineering professionals with integrity and ethics who are ready to contribute in a global work environment.

This Professional Ethics class has been specifically designed to meet the needs of new Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) students.
