Fluid And Particle Mechanics

Students of the Fluid and Particle Mechanics class will have the opportunity to join a variety of learning and training programs guided directly by lecturers who are experts in their respective fields, with an international standard curriculum. This Fluid and Particle Mechanics class aims to teach students more in-depth about the basic concepts of fluid and particle mechanics processes.

About Course

This course teaches students about fluid statistics, applications in fluid flow, fluid measurement, fluid transport equipment, fixed bed, fluidized bed, agitation, mixing process, sedimentation process and centrifugal separation process. Students are expected to be able to calculate hydrostatic pressure, understand the principles of fluid and particle mechanics, calculate the factors that cause mechanical energy loss, calculate fluid velocity, and so on.

This Fluid and Particle Mechanics class has been specifically designed to meet the needs of new Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) students.
