Plantation Society

Plantation Society class students will have the opportunity to join various kinds of learning and training programs, guided directly by lecturers who are experts in their respective fields, with an international standard curriculum. The Plantation Society class aims to deepen students' understanding of the sociology of the community in the plantation area so that it can be implemented to improve the quality of life of the community in the plantation.

About Course

This course describes and explains the diversity of plantations in the North Sumatra region and various social problems and issues in plantation communities. In this class, students will be trained to define the role of plantations in increasing Human Resources (HR) and Regional Revenue, analyze conflicts and social issues in plantation communities, provide recommendations for solutions and social policies to existing problems, and implement learning knowledge directly in plantation communities.
